A beautiful vintage Schneider 8-day Black Forest cuckoo clock, handcrafted in Germany in the traditional chalet style.
This detailed Alpine chalet features contrasting natural woods, decorative shutters, evergreen trees, balcony figures, and a wonderfully detailed woodland scene. The clock really comes to life through its charming animations: the waterwheel turns while the woodchopper works beside the chalet, creating the movement and character that make traditional Black Forest clocks so special.
Powered by a traditional 8-day mechanical movement, the clock requires winding only approximately once a week, offering the charm of a mechanical cuckoo clock with the convenience of less frequent winding.
A wonderful example of German clockmaking by Schneider, and an especially striking piece for a collection, cabin, chalet-inspired home, or holiday display.
Features: Schneider • Made in Germany • 8-day mechanical movement • Animated waterwheel • Animated woodchopper • Traditional cuckoo • Chalet design • Pinecone weights & pendulum
Carefully inspected, tested, and prepared by Geppetto for its next home.
